I bought a cable online and it arrived at my house today. I tried installing the software, and I got an error, but I explored the CD and installed two things from it hoping that this would somehow work. However I'm having trouble with it actually finding the phone. I'll be more specific when I get home and look up all the specifics, but would anyone have any ideas off the top of their heads?

You might need to download a USB driver for your computer for the software to detect your phone when it is connected.

You may have just bought a data cable with no editing software. The cd is probably just the driver to connect the phone and pc.

Here's the Item I bought, http://store.yahoo.com/cellularaccessorycom/98571.html.
I tried again and successfully installed the software on my machine, connected the cable to my phone, and the phone beeped, meaning it was getting power from the USB port, but after all that it still was like the program couldn't find the phone. Anybody know how to deal with this? The software said it had the drivers with it, and I know it has a multimedia thing to actually transfer the stuff over. It just won't connect with the phone.
For some reason, I don't think the program is installing the right drivers for my phone, or for some reason isn't installing any because it can find it.

So does this mean noone knows what's going on? Would anyone know where to find an online manual or guide for this sort of thing?
