Hello, I have a motorola V220 and the fone works fine but the only problem is that the screen just stoped showing anything. Its lit up but its just a black screen. Whats Wrong?

Ya to find out exactly what happened we need to know what you did to your phone immediately before or anytime before you restart the phone.

most likely it's a defect, i've seen a lot of 220's and 180's do this, if the screen does come back on the image will be all scrambled, should be covered under warranty by your provider

Sad for the amount of time this phones been on the market you'd think they would have made a recall and applied a fix.

I agree, bugs like that should be fixed by the next shipment of the phones or at least within a month or two.

Thats really pathetic that motorola seems to not fix most of these little errors that really get on a persons nerves.

I agree, but Motorola are still my personal favourite brand of cellphones. Thry are aimed mostly at the younger market, but also suite the "older" market. Most of them also come packed with loads of features, so I guess they are okay.
They probably don't fix their mistakes because they are busy developing a new cellphone or something. I guess we will never knoe. Unless...
