I'd advise against it. Changing the phones IMEI is illegal and the only thing I can think of is unlocking the phone somehow. But I'd say look past that one if unless theres no other options.

ok can you explain to me how can the entire uk's network banned this cell? do they lock it at the service provider end? or the user's cell phone? I am not talking about the sim card lock..

in the uk they have an imei black list. once a phone is reported lost it's added to this black list so that imei can't be activated unless the owner of the phone takes it off the black list, much like how with spring over here in the u.s. can block the esn on a phone if it's reported stolen or lost, only the person who reported it can reactivate it. The UK companies work together on that all the companies can access that black list database

That the risk people take when they are willing to buy stuff on ebay icon_surprised.gif
but inreturn they hope to get the fone cheap. If it doesn't work the flash it to work. I just help a guy two days ago with the V3 raz he bought on ebay, he waited 2 week and by the time the he got the fone seller is long gone, phone has problem , no sound, when talk peole can hear him but he can not hear them, so flash the hec out of it and it's work fine.

LoL seems the flash flexing will fix anything, o btw if im not wrong when you bring a UK phone here you may or may not have to OPCODE the bandwith.

Isn't there a world-wide blacklist database in order to stop illegal shipments of Blacklisted cellphones overseas?
