I am a Verizon customer who's been very happy with my VX4400 until now...I just upgraded to an LG VX7000 (Black) since Verizon no longer offers the initial Blue version.
What is the difference between Blue and Black in terms of connectors, batteries or electronics?
In researching on the web I see that there might have been more options for re-charging equipment for the Blue version vs the Black one. Is there any info about what the actual difference is?
USB Cable...which one should I buy? (PLEASE! I need advice on this.)
Also, I am seeing listings for USB cables on commerce sites that say "VX7000 (Blue only)" for many cables.
Is there a good recommendation for what USB cable I want to buy for an LG VX7000 Black?? What brand? And which has good drivers so I can (hopefully) download pics and movies to my PC...and upload new ringtones and backgrounds to the phone. (and even preserve my data on the phone, if possible).
THANK YOU for any and all recommendations...I'm late to the VX7000 party, but now there's a new version of the phone, apparently.
Jon

I also have the black one. I can't recall what it was, but the blue VX does have something that the black does not. I'll try looking it up myself.
As far as the cable, I purchased the mobile modem kit for VX 7000 in the verizon store. It was 30 dollars but u can get one cheaper online on Ebay.

i have the blue phone and my brother has the black...and the only difference is the bottom of the phone...the blue has a data connector AND a pinhole for charging, where the black phone has only the data connector, which also acts as charging....so they just basically got rid of something useless.

so if I have a blue version car charger I obviously can't use it on the black version since it doesn't have the little circle thing?
