First let me say sorry for posting this...I know it has been posted before but I can't find the thread again.

I have a 720c from alltel and I just bought the data cable for it. I do have the software, but of course lack the drivers.

Does anyone still have these drivers or can you point me to a place to get them?

Thank you very much in advance!!!

Thanks!!!! The drivers worked great. But now I'm having a problem getting the phone to sync up with the computer. I am using Mobile Phone Tools 2.0. Is there a better program to use? What I am really trying to do is upload ringtones and pictures and all that. I dont want to use it as a modem...which is all this program seems to let me do.

Thanks again

when you installed the program...did you make sure the cable was unplugged ... as this would be the easier program to do what you want to do.
and are you able to run an update on mPT?

There is p2kman that will do the same but has other powerful functions not to be messed with if unsure.

The cable was unpluged when installed. I was able to update MPT to v3.11h. It gives me all the features I want, but when I go to the "Multimedia Studio" it doesn't allow me to transfer anything to my phone. The buttons to do it are there...but all "greyed" out. Almost like its not seeing the phone. It does allow me to bring up the actuall program that looks like the phone...and it will transfer phone #'s and calendar stuff.

check:
do you have anything already installed in the phone that may have special characters like '&' or '#' (don't include those it came with) and not over 20 characters in total for the title (incl.spaces)

No, nothing like that at all. The only things put into the phone were names and phone numbers. And none of them are over 20 chars. and they dont have any special characters

Does the fact that my phone is a 720C have anything to do with the problems? It is the CDMA ver. for Alltel.

I've just tried re-installing the program again. Still the same...everything as far as numbers and contacts works great...as long as I am using the "mobile phone tools" part...where it brings up a computer model of the phone...but as soon as I try to open the "multimedia studio" all transfer options grey out.
