I was searching on google and found this website... I downloaded some wallpaper onto my phone, in the WINDOWS area of my phone.. where all the ringtones and other standard ( wall paper that comes with the phone ), wall paper is . I select it and cannot find any place where it says " set as wall paper".. t han I go to home screens and it is not in the category , just the wallpaper or background images that was loaded stock on the phone.
.wavs will work with sounds when I save as sounds, but how do I get my own wallpaper to work..
thanks.

Thats odd? Did you look in the guide and see if it says anything about setting downloaded images as wallpaper?

Are you sure that the images are in the right format? Some websites put their wallpapers in weird formats, even though most cellphones won't support that format.

Iam going to look and get back to you all, but they are set as .jpgs , the standard images that come with the phone and the ones I load, it's smart phone tech. with windows xp, somewhat like a computer.

Ya, if you go to settings>personalize>Wallpaper you might be able to select the picture you want.

Last suggestion I have is, if you have a data cable download the picture and use like paint or something to change the files extension then re-upload it and set it.

I don't see any reason for it not to work if it is in .jpg format...
