Hi Everyone,

My name is Mike and I am presently teaching English in Beijing.

I travel a lot and last year alone I was in Europe, North American and now Asia.

I am planning on travelling to Vietnam, Hong Kong and Thailand at the end of January.

I now have a Chinese phone which is a "Capitel - model C8086." Instruction are in Chinese but I am making may way with learning the phone.

My needs are great!

I need a phone that will work in as many countries as possible. I am also a gadget guy who likes features.

How can I tell if my phone will work back home in Canada and in Europe?

I am also ready to buy a second phone. What do I need to know to get one that will work in as many places as possible while I travel?

Can I also get one that will hook up to my laptop so I can get the internet through my cell phone.

Ok, Ok.... I will stop asking questions and start reading the forums before I swamp everyone with what may be very stupid questions.
