Have no idea. But MAYBE it is the work of your Service Provider, which could've kindly limited yor WAP. That's why I bought a SIM free phone. Other logical explanations are unkown (at least) by me. Try to squeeze the manure out of the SPs, and probably they'll find somthing out.

I have Cingular with their superhome package and Wireless Internet Express. I can download and upload as much as I want. They actually get good reception as well. icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Ya, I can get limitless uploads and downloads with Westel GPRS WAP. Actually Westel was the first service provider (it's only Hungarian) to start the very first MMS service in the world icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif ... SO, I think that this is a limit probably built into the "modem" of your phone, by yor service provider. Try to debate this issue with them. Actually, I've bought my T310 SIM free, coz I can switch service providers any time I want, coz if you buy the phone from the SP directly, then in most cases it has a limit with which you can't switch to another SP's SIM card in the phone. And, of corz, you buy the SPs phone, so that's why I say that they can do anything to it before you purchase the phone. For example, limiting yor WAP. Talk to your SP, and hopefully they'll be willing to free yor phone of its limits (probably for a nice sum of money (yuck! slippery capitalists! icon_twisted.gif )).
