Sorry miss spell lame incoder that what audacity was asking for.Goole it esay to find and free

But I've had lame all along. It worked the first time around but now it wont work. When I try to encode it, the "Encoding in Process" box comes up, but thats as far as it goes, it doesnt load any farther than that thus stopping me from making the file an MP3 file.

Ok let take it at the begining, Audacity only work with mp3 i think, so what i did is use cd riper and store song as mp3 in my c drive then us audacity to cut it down to 25 second at 32 floating bitrate, 128kb mono then save selection as mp3 format ID3v2 ( more lfexible) and it done. Bit if you have such hard time with it you may want to use melodies studio in MPT to do this it will take it right from you cd all you have to do is cut it down to 25 second.

Ok, what Im not understanding is, am I saving the selection as an MP3 format ID3v2 in the Audacity program or in the Lame program ? And also, when I do go to File->Export MP3 in Audacity, it doesnt give me an option to save it as ID3v2 like you said ? What box or where at would that be located ? Also after I've trimmed the file down and all, and Im ready to save, which option do I click on under File, is it Save Project As, or Export as MP3, or Export as WAV ?

Ok got ya. after cut down andall go file Exprot seclection as mp3 then a box popup ask ( Save MP3 file as) and you got to choosae where you want to save it, after you hit save there is a box will pop up and is a format (of audacity) that when you chose ID3v2

It's only aloow you to when you use is to select you clip sample you load full song in and then you choose the section that you like cut it down to 25 second hit play to make sure that how you like it, oh and the effect too it got amplify that make it louder then use that option now it will be availbe. try that if you still have problem email me that way i can do some screen shot for you, cause my English is confussing
