Well I've tried saving the file as an mp3 on Audacity and it says that it doesnt export WAV files as MP3's but uses RazorLame instead. I downloaded that and was able to export 1 file as an MP3 and uploaded it to my phone successfully. Now when I try to encode the file in RazorLame, it doesnt do it anymore ?? Can anybody help me out ? I dont know why RazorLame is no longer encoding the MP3 files for me. The "Encoding in Process" box comes up, but its not doing anything even if its like that for an hour. Does anyone have any alternatives or suggestions for RazorLame. Thanks in advance.

I've never had luck using audacity. Mp3 cutter is easier to use, although.

Dont you have to pay for that ? I know how to create my own through mobile phone tools and all, but I cant save them as mp3 files through Audacity or Razor Lame and I just wanted to know if I was doing something wrong ?? For instance, since I first created this post, Razor Lame is still open with the "Encoding in Process" box open but its like it hasnt even began the process to encode the file to mp3 ??

In Audacity after you cut it down to the clip you want do a export selection as mp3, then put it in the folder youlike to store it will popup a little box call format, choose save selection as mp3 then store it in the folder that you like , alittle box will pop up (format) choose ID3v2( more flexible) and then just drag and drop it to you fone via MPT multimidea center.

^^ I dont understand your directions, but so far from what I gathered, I save the file as MP3, but when I do a box jumps up and says "Audacity does not export MP3 files directly, but instead uses the freely available lame library to handle MP3 encoding" And thats as far as I can go ??
