I followed the instructions on hex editing and enabling this feature. My issue is understanding/using it. The search function wasn't helping me, so I resorted to posting here. This feature makes my phone ring and vibrate at the same time, right? That's what I'm wanting. Anyway, any help is appreciated.

I am not sure of that hack. If you did enabled it, what difference you experience with the phone if any? Does it vib/ring at the same time?
It has been suggested in the past that moto phones aren't capable of such feature like the Nokia's can.

Maybe, after I think about it, this is just a hack that P2KTools does on other phones, and not my v551, I'll have to check my resources when I get back to my home console, but for what it counts, I can get P2KTools to think it's changing something.
I don't have my bookmarks at this console, so I can't say exactly what my resource said, but I'm 99% sure it did not go into detail as to what this feature does, just that I can turn it on... I think. Anyway, after I enable this feature, I have nothing that resembles "Vibe Sync" anywhere on my phone, nor does any action that could be reasonably labeled as such take place. I was under the impression this would cause my phone to ring/vibe at the same time, but if it's true my motorola does not have such capabilities, I suppose I will have to live with it.
Duceduc, you say your phone is Hexed like there's no tomorrow or what-have-you, can you suggest any hexes that I should do. I have links to the various different things I can do, I just was hoping for suggestions, rather than wading through all the options I may or may not want.

What I did to my phone was customize it to my liking. It is nothing fancy or crazy if you don't think by editing your phone's seem file is crazy enough.
I don't remember all the things I did but some are:
change the outer screen text to read Gizmo
Change my startup/shutdown anime to winxp
Deleted the main display cingular logo
Delete the date
Other small little ignoring things that you may find as well.
photos
Most of the codes I found here.

Just got home... Those links are helpful, that's where I got the mods I've already done (including this vibe sync hack). I tried it again tonight when I got home, and this is my final analysis:
The hack in question is from the first URL link in the above post. It's in seem 0032_001, the line from the hackmap reads as follows:
offset 68 - bit 0: Settings > Initial Setup > Vibe Sync (1 on, 0 off)
I went ahead and did this, several times before I bothered to check in my phone's initial setup. So tonight I checked, it was there, so I set it active. To test it, I called my cell from my house. My house phone rang until my cell phone voicemail picked up, but my cell phone neither made a peep, nor did it indicate I was receiving a call. After disabling this option in my initial setup, my phone returned to normal.
I haven't been into this long enough to understand why it does that, but for my level of skill it means that I can't do it, so I'm not attempting it. I'm interested to know if it's possible though.
BTW duceduc, I did quite a bit of those changes to my phone myself (my Display says "Prhyme" though for obvious reasons)

I didn't know that your name was from The Transformers. That was my favorite show. I have season 1 & 2 of the tv series.

Wow, I edited my message like five times cuz I didn't know what to say, but you still caught the aside that I took out.
I have a problem with getting wordy, than I think people won't read the lengthy posts (<-see, I can't help it). Anyway, I just figured as I stumble through these things I'd share my findings; that way maybe someone more talented can pick it up, figure it out, than share their findings. Ah, the beauty of information exchange.
