I've browsed the posts for a couple hours now, reading everything about converting files to ringtones, and I consider myself able to do all of that easily WITHIN the phones limits. I hate those limits though, and the question I've never seen answered is how to change or "fool" those limits. I have a 40-tone phone that's limited to only 30kb per song, which is nowhere near what I want to do. I'm pretty sure everyone is sick of 10 second ringtones, and poor quality songs in order to make the 30-40k limit on these phones. How do I get past this?
*I also remember viewing a post with Boom Boom Boom, that lasted 30 seconds, sounded good, and was 20 Kb. It was never answered how this was done. I'd really like to know if there was a way to make the .mmf files smaller, longer, and sound better than the traditional ways.

The best way I know of to go over the limits would be to flash your tone into free memory and then re-address one of the original tones to point to your tone...
Worked for me...

That sounds great, but I'm pretty unexperienced when it comes to phone technology, and I don't have any idea HOW to try what you told me? Could you dumb it down for me, or at least point me in the right direction?

ReRe: Try posting this in a related/new thread. I assume you mean your WAP Browser? If so, go to WWW services, proxy settings, profile x, home url, and change it to the page you want.

Clarify in what way ? The titles (WWW Services etc) are menu titles (Might not be exactly right, but along those lines)
