The firmware are not hard to find over the net. It is a matter of which firmware you want as some members find it hard to choice. I personally don't see any difference between the most famous ones.
Here is a tutorial on how to flash your phone.

Someone would have to have tried it before if not there should be a flash/flex compatibility chart out there somewhere. Anyone know of either?

I believe the V525 uses the Triplet files while the V620 uses the R376. The end result would be a dead phone.
However, there is a V620 flex made for the triplet family. I have tried it on my V600 but remove it because the flex was not stable.

Well if its not stable then IMO its not worth it...Unstability will lead to major issues also if not a dead phone. So try another phone version if you can. Thanks for sending out the heads up Duce

Of course, this was from my experience. Some would claim that this flex is great. I, for one, don't see much improvment with the one I am using one. The menu response isn't much faster either.

So once again it comes down to personnal opinions. If you'd still like to try it and you go through with it let us know we'd be glad to hear how you like it.
