I just got a LG VX7000 because I heard it was a great phone and got great reviews.... but it seems that the one I got has a serious problem with the headset speaker. It seems that the headset speaker is always on and sounds like a hissing noise or dead air, even when I'm not making a call or using the phone. I can't seem to figure out why its so loud, but making a phone call in a quiet room is almost impossible because its hard to hear anything over the hissing noise... I exchanged the phone for another vx7000 but after 2 days the new one started to do the same thing... is this normal? does anyone else have this problem? just wondering before i return it for another model.

Did you take the phone back to the store where you bought it? That seems like a silly question, but maybe they just have a bad batch of them. It can happen where a whole run of phones has a bad wire or bad speaker which can really mess things up. If you did take it to the same store, try taking it to one across town or maybe have them ship you a new one?

For my experience, the 7000 has great volume, wonderful reception and a great battery life. So, if the above applies, try that new store and if not, call VZW directly and get a new one from them directly.

I bought a VX7000 and my pictures started disappearing within the first two weeks. The files are still there, but the pictures are just blank nothingness. Nothing is there. As if I'm supposed to imagine the pictures, or play some sort of photographic memory game where I must just remember what pictures I've taken. sometimes several of them would show up again to visit me too.

I took the phone back (to the same store) and they said they'd never seen anything like it, gave me a new phone, and that was that. A few days later, or within the first week, the same thing started happening again.

There's something erie about the 7000...It's erie and, well, mostly just downright frustrating. I'm sorry - I'm sure this didn't help - but I felt somehow connected to you in this LG VX7000 mystery world.

I just bought an LG VX-7000 and I signed up for unlimited Pic/Text/Email messaging BUT - I cannot receive or send out pictures. Whenever I try to send one it says "Message delivery failed" and whenever someone sends me on it says "Message recipt failed". Do youthink it could be a lack of Digital service? At my house where I am trying this, I dont get very good service. Only like 2 bars. Please help
Thanks

Again sorry for posting in such an early topic.

Its the diffrent servers. You can only send to Cingular I hear.

As for the vx7000 Problems sry to hear but try taking it to someone else. Maybe one of the guys at the sweat shop got mad and started fucking up the phones? icon_redface.gif

Just call verizon and have them ship you a new one.

I've had my VX7000 for over a year now and the problem I'm starting to have now is that the phone shuts off even though the battery is fullly charged. I can start it up again, no problem but in a few minutes it's off again. It's the original battery. Could I need a new battery or is there something else wrong?

Hi Niccasey,
I had the same problem. Reps in the store and over the phone asked me to remove my battery, put it back, try sending it to myself, try sending it to people with other networks, but I kept getting the same message: that delivery had failed. Finally, a rep told me to delete some unwanted pictures from my phone (or you can send them to PixPlace if you want to store them elsewhere) and this worked. It helped free up space on my phone and my phone was able to carry out the process of sending the message. Hope this works for you too.
