it is very fast and you do have to do a little work aferwards with tones, camera as it is a completely bare flex...no tones or pics at all.... it does give you loads of memory though..over 5mb to play with...
btw i had a 55 flash then 58 before trying this v3 flex...i'm a sucker for testing stuff

you had 55? was it 55R? cause i thought that one loaded a completely different boot loader on the phone and you couldn't go back to a lower flash
it does...you can only upgrade to the 58.... but the v3 flex is also installed now;)
and you can go back from 58 to 55, as i tried that out too

ok i got the v3 flex for my v600 i fixed most of the problem except the event light and the funlight i have the funlight.pat in there and it shows the menu for it but it doesnt light up i did the 0032 edit already but nuthing u guys know y thanks for the help guys

Where are people getting the flash or flex files from? I can't seem to find a website thats sells or has it up for download. Can people tell me how they get hold of theirs? If your not allowed to show me links to sites can you give me some keywords to search for them in google. The only sites that appear are forums explaining what they have done or how they've gone worng when doing these changes.

i forgot where i found the files but if u e-mail or enable ur e-mail i could send u the files but i got to warn u it come with nuthing as in no ringtones no pic no videos nuthhin but u do get a lot of space to play around with it i had it for a while but i didnt really like it so i went back to v620 just cuz i like the funlight but there is a way to put it in the v3 flex but i tried evrything and it didnt work for me so ya anyhelp on that would be great thank u guys

enable Funlight & eventlight:
Use motorola tool to open your 0032_0001 seem
Goto tools modify bit settings
type in 65, make sure bit 0 is checked
type in 63, make sure bit 1, 3 are not checked
I don't know if that will work for you because someone else tried it and was unsuccessful.

Could you send me the V620 and the V3 files please. Also, if anyone has the V600 files I would also like them, just incase I want to go back to the original. Cheers.

do you not read all the posts in this thread? duce just told you where to get the v3 files from, and if you read that post he speaks of you can probable see where everyone is getting the v620 and v600 files from.

I flexed my V180 with the V3 and it's ok. The outer volume buttons are reversed, it says I'm roaming, and it also says AT&T Wireless instead of Cingular. Other than that no major issues. For now though I reflexed back to my V180 until I get another phone. Also, is there anyway to reflash this thing higher? I have R364_G_0B.D1.32R right now. Am I just stuck with this? I've tried some triplets flashes and I keep getting errors.
