You can get the V3 flex here .
You will need pst multiflexflash to upgrade the firmware.
This file size is very small. That means there is no preloaded ringers, wallpapers, quicknotes, camera sound, etc. If you want pre-install ringers and wallpaper, this flex is not for you.

Some of you have probably heard of this V3 flex for the Vxxx series phone and you are probably waiting for some brave soul to try it. icon_devil.gif Let me be the first to post my result.
screenshot

I have flexed the V3 to my V600 phone. It is the best one I have tried so far. The menu response time is very fast. There is no lag as with the E9 flex I previous had. The wallpaper loads up at an instant. The camera viewing has improve tremendously as well!! I see no blur as I scan the camera across the room.
Finally, you get over 7mb of space right after the flex as there are no ringers, wallpapers, quick notes, video, etc load to phone. What you get is a barebone flex.

Of course there are some bugs with this flex. icon_cry.gif
The camera needs to be fix as well as the ring styles menu. For some reason the camera freezes after you take a picture. In addition, you will not be able to go in your loud/soft ringer option as it will kick you back to the homescreen. The funlights are gone as well.

Note: I've only listed the major bugs. There are few others that I have found. For example, the VM shortcut button is gone, VM message comes on as a @ symbol, the roaming icon pops up, the logo is cingular wireless instead of cingular. There maybe more items I may have missed. You are warned. Don't be dispear, all these can be fix by seem editing with xlr8 page.

If you are unable to fix the ring styles menu by selecting the vibrate style, than install a ringtone, and back to loud style option again. Try the next solution.

The major bug fix: (thx to adobostreak)

****FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH RINGSTYLE MENU***
Before you start do this first:
Using p2kman, delete mytone & temptone .db files, & master reset on phone.

Now do the following:
1. Open PST Phone Programmer (either 6.7 or 6.9) not Multiflexflash.
2. Go to new, then select Feature file.
3. Push the button Read Phone at the top.
4. It will then connect to your phone and read the features and will display a new window with the current features
5. Select the phone type in bullet number 2. Click create.
6.In the new window scroll down, you will see Ring Styles and each menu item will have a box associated with it.
7. Make sure all the boxes reads 0 (zero) which is silent for all options and reminders should be set to off.
8. Push the Write to Phone at the top and then restart phone
9. You will have access to your ring style option again

****FOR THOSE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH CAMERA****
1. Go to Pictures Setup in camera menu
2. Turn Auto Repeat Off
3. Turn Shuffle Off
4. shutter tone: none

**********Funlights************
All those minor issues can be fix using motorola tools and 0032_0001 seem

Updates:
-----------Additional fixes----------

I got the funlights fixed. You just have to enable it using motorola tools not mobile phone tools.

I would like the V620 flashing light files and the camera shutter files, although. I don't know the exact name. THX

BTW, it took me almost all day to figure out how to fix the ringer style menu issues. I almost gave up.

In motorola tools, look to to the first row. It should be the last box on the very bottom. I think it says ring lights.

greenleaf:

I wasn't aware that the V80 has flashing lights. I know the V620 and the E390 (i think) will work as well.

Also, the V620 flex flashes both the keypad and the main display. I don't like that as it is useless and comsumes battery. The E380 funlight.pat works great. How is the V80 like?

i was assuming it was from a V80 (i got it via 'Howards'..offered to you!!) the keypad flashes, which i like, as may have been from a e380..

i just started trying out a few as the new flash i did didn't have this file in the phone when done (and i had to load my mma files and the 0032).. now it's just ace with no bugs that i can find... i also made a few colour schemes (spcolor.sch) for it, that finish it off nicely icon_wink.gif

the colour scheme i used, i edited myself with the moto tool...it's a mixture of blue & greens (& a bit of yellow as i don't like white backgrounds)
the funlight.pat: i have a few copies but one does not allow flashing lights and the other does.. don't know which is from where now as i collected about four seperates - V80 - V600 - E380 - V550, but failed to keep a record of which is from where.
...is there an easy way of finding out?
