I also read somewhere, that if i delete the two database files, that they will remake themselved upon restarting the phone. I tried this as well, but they wont delete through P2K, it just sits there and says
"Deleting file /a/mobile/audio/TempToneDB.db ok"
I even tried transfering them to my desktop, opening them with wordpad, emptying them out and reuploading them, but it says the file size is too small.
If anyone could help me out here i would be greatly appreciative.
Would anyone happen to have the original ringer files and whatnot ?

ok i finally got this issue sorted, i was able to find someone who had a whole crapload of backed up factory files for the v180, downloaded those, including their databases, uploaded them to my phone, and BAM !! worked like a charm.
I'm not sure if its ok to release his information to others or not?
but it sure helped me
Thank you again !!!!

To delete stock ring tone and files you need to use P2kman

Ok, I did the steps for the wallpapers and that was a breeze. I then tried the same steps for ringtones but that was a no go. I tried with extension as .mid and .midi but those two failed. I can't get p2kman to work for me at all (won't detect mobile through data cable). I'm using a v3 razr. If someone could let me know how to setup p2kman properly and exactly what files I need to use it, that would be supercalifrajalisticexpialidocious. =)
