Hi,
Downloading videos from my samsung only transfer video, no audio. My system is EasyGPRS version 2.1.8 on Windows XP SP2 with Media Player version 10. When I use Windows 98, the video also contains audio.
This is frustrating since I have tried many ways including download Media Player media encoder pack.
What encoder is required to successfully transfer video including the sounds? There must be a way to do this.
Thanks for your input suggestion.

T-Mobile has a [nasty] tendency to "alter the firmware/hardware".
Traditionally, they've either been reducing the frequency support (e.g: if the original nonbranded phones were a world triband, T-Mobile will conveniently remove either the 900/1800 band support) or changed the data capability (e.g.: if the original phone allowed camera photo downloading or cameravideo downloading, T-Mobile will limit that function or disable it outright).
Recently, the second one still seem to hold, but now, they seem to be altering frequency support now. World tribands are now "domestic tribands" (850, 1800, 1900)

Since 850/1900 is the bands used for North America, it is for the benefit of the user to have 850/1800/1900 triband instead of 900/1800/1900. If you live in Europe / Asia, you probably prefers 900/1800/1900. On the other hand, if you live in North America, you will prefer 850/1800/1900. Both tri-bands can still be used in most of the world as you can still use 1900 in North America or 1800 in Europe / Asia.
