I have a fairly new SGH-700. The phone itself is in new condition, however I am having a problem with the Camera feature on the phone. I have read the phones manual but this has not helped me.
When I enter the Camera Menu and select Take Photos the screen goes completely white, If I press the photo capture button, the image is displayed as a Green Screen. I have tried adjusted the LCD brightness and the contrast etc and this has made no difference. People can send me Picture Messages and these display correctly on the phone.
Does anyone know if my settings are wrong or is it something more serious.
Hope to hear from someone soon.
Thanks

This happened to my e700 a couple of months ago. I think it is a fault with the phone because quite a few people have said the same. Mine happened I think because I dropped it outside waqs fine for months then one day decided that the camera should stop working and like yours my screen went white everytime I went o take a photo.
The only solution I had for myself was to buy a new phone which I did samsung D500. You could contact somone from Samsung their customer service number is 0870 242 0303. Hope this helps.

Yes I think it is covered within a year but the only thing is you have to send it to Samsung and you will lose all your messages and numbers unless you put them on your computer. I only had mine for 7 months and it did this, eventually the whole screen went like when I just opened the flip so I couldn't see anything!! So I thought I better buy a new phone!

Really??? This morning my E700 became white, too! First I couldn't take pictures anymore, and then, the screen turned into white!
Congratulation to Samsung! I see this is a common problem for E700 owners! A very good mobile!
So, it is not a firmware problem?
Help!!!

I'm sure! Unfortunately! And reading in other forums, I noticed that I'm not the only one with white screen!
Well... Thanks Samsung!
I know what I don't have to buy next time....
