1. WAP is a simplified WWW version, that you can browse on your phone. It's written in WML instead of HTML, so WAP sites are generally text-based.
2. What phone are you using?

Hello WAP stands for Wireless Application Protocol. It is the mobile phones version of the internet www. To set up a wap service you have to register with a network that you wish to use then they either send you a text message (sms) down the phone by an attachment, which you can then save in your phones memory. If you have a mobile phone that the service provider you wish to go with dosen't have the settings to send directly to your phone, then either give them a call and they will go through the phone settings with you step by step so that you can manually put settings in your phone. When you have done this Away you go to surf the wap internet on your phone.. Hope this helped

Hi, I have a samsung v205 phone and with the tmobile service. I don't know how to access the wap sites. Is it through the bookmarks? links? I heard you can access wap.yahoo.com but how do I go there with my phone? Can someone please assist?

First of all, you have to obtain WAP settings from your service provider or from the manufacturer's website(www.samsung.com). After obtaining the settings, you can easily start browsing.

To find out more and to order WAP settings, call your service provider.
