Hey Deuce: No, that slot is only to select which picture on your phone you want associated with that number
Greenleaf: It is already on picture. (I did it with list too and no luck)
I just used my house number and called my cell over and over again

do you have your phone set to auto answer or do you open it when someone calls and you have to hit the answer button to answer

I have to manually press "accept" to get the call. That is how it is supposed to be isn't it?

You can set it where the phone will answer a call when flip is open w/o pressing the answer button. However, by doing that, you will not be able to see the picture id.

Ok, can someone give me the clear set of instructions how to MAKE the picture appear. What I need to set, and where they all are.
So far no one has been of any help cause I still get no picture.

I have tested the picture id myself and it works. This is for your V600 isn't?
Veil posted the corrrect steps on achieving this.
But, here is what I did:
Make sure you set your phone to answer by button only.
menu, settings, in-call setup, answer options, open to answer, off
Choose picture for contact name:
menu, phonebook, menu key (choose the contact to edit), edit, picture.
Now, choice picture for that contact. Done
Test phone.
After I have finished these steps, I am reading this quote from you

I don't know exactly what you want to do? I assume you want to assign a picture with a particular contact name. So when the person calls your phone, you will see the picture you have selected.

yes deuce. That is exactly what I want. I have followed your steps exactly. Yet each and every one of my friends that call me, I only see their phone number appear on my screen not their picture. If you scroll through my phone book you can see everybody's picture. What could be going on?
