Hi Everyone,

You might want to hold off before upgrading MPT 3.11 to 3.19 (at least that was the latest upgrade when I tried a few weeks ago).

There are some Known issues with the program and Motorola pretty much suggested to uninstall and reinstal 3.11 (which was working great for me and V551).

MPT version 3.11 I believe was the major release which is sold if you purchase MPT and get the CD.

Some of the problems I encountered:
- Couldn't transfer pictures between phone and computer either way
- Messed up my norton internet security (tool bars and other)

Again these are not huge - but was extremely frustrating to me - especially since i just had everything set up the way I wanted!!! I was able to still do the most important elements - sync phonebook and calander. But darn - I really did miss exchanging pictures.

Motorola mentioned they were working on and a fix should be out soon - sure getting tired of calling the darn 1-800-buy-moto phone number for HELP!!!!

Thanks
Willie

i'm usuing 3.19 and its fine. although i have a 505 and not a 551.

quick question for everyone. when i have my phone connected to mpt and then make an internet connection, does that go against my data package (i.e. i'll get charged for data usage on my phone)?

Well I have v3.19 and it worked on my friends v551 and my phone T720 for the moment, but a problem I did have with v505 is it read it as a V300 and I needed to work on that phone and I couldn't as the drivers were incorrect. Any ideas how to make it install ACTUAL V505 or V500 drivers. I installed from mpt and pst dirs and neither worked.
