Hello again. So far I found this to be a helpfull site. So again I'm posting a problem.
I put the new seems and mma! Everything was fine. But after that in the manual says that after a restart I should have a folder called "Videos". Unfortunatelly there was no new folder.
So is there a better Manual how to make this mod on V400. And where can I download the files, because I think that the ones I have are fishy.
Thank you.
I want to put a screensaver picture as a background. But when I put it it stops moving. How can put a picture that moves? Is this a seem editing to make it work?

i entered the same files plus my 0032 seem into my wifes unmodified V500, now she has video play also.... not sure where to get them except emailing peeps.

It's OK. After the video mod you should start MPT if you want to upload 3gp videos.
Now if someone knows how to make a screensaver image moves when you set it as a background, please tell us.

iline i enable video and everything. did you lose the date and service prodiver on the main screen? also the numbers in my phone book arent recognized unless the area code is in the phonebook, this wasnt the case before. do u have the same problem??

Hello.
Yes I did lose the date and the srvice provider. However you can make them visible by editing the 0032_0001 seem. About the area code - No I don't have that problem. But so far some of the ringtones are missing. Some are scrambled and I can't play them. Also some of the menus are not available. I'm thinking reflashing to the old one without the video mod. I'm suggensting doing it until there is some good video mod for the V400.

wow u have scrambled ringtones because of the video mod?? i had none of those problems with mine, jus the ones i listed above. do you kno wat offset i have to edit in 0032_0001 seem? and also does reflashing mean uploading the original files back onto the phone? if i run into any serious problems (like scrambled ringtones) i would jus upload the original files

Yes probably the problem depends for the v400. No I don't know which one you have to edit, but there is pretty good explanation about the 0032_0001 seem. However I can't post you the address, because of the copyright stuff, but I did found it here at this forum. I think I went through the Motorola Tutorials.
and also does reflashing mean uploading the original files back onto the phone? - Hmmm this is a good question. So far I didn't do this. But I totaled changed the triplets and flex, as you can seen from my signature on the left. If do this ALL OF YOUR SETTINGS WILL BE LOST!!! A little simple - what ever is in the files for flashing that is what will be on your phone! When you reflash it it doesn't mod the SIM card . Unfortunatelly it reset my Lifetime counter to zero  ! So be careful. Take care now.
