I tried searching the forums and saw no topic on this. I have a Saumsung e317 with cingular. I was wondering if there was a way to upload our own pics to be used for photo ids instead of having to use the phone's camera. I use the easygprs as well but when I select a pic the upload icon does not become available. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

send it over via wap. go to www.coolservice.dk and make an account there. Then upload your pictures to your account, and then access the wap site and download the pictures to your phone,

I don't think there is a any way to use a downloaded picture as a caller ID. I have a E800, and I cant do it with that either. Only photos can be used.

I have been successfuly downloaded pics from http server.
Also I have been successfuly vieved my webmail with X100.
I have heard that "normal" web-pages wont work with Samsung mobiles but at least my own X100 can use "normal" web-pages :S

File manager in EasyGPRS doesn't allow you to upload to MyPhoto of the phone. Picture ID pull from that location.

What do you mean by Picture ID pull from that location? So there is no way to upload into the MyPhoto folder?
