All of the tutorials seem to refer to transferring via the USB cable (unless I missed it, please let me know)...

Similar to the original poster, I CANNOT figure out how to upload .JAD or .JAR files to my v600 via Bluetooth.

Uploading MP3 ringtones was a breeze.... This on the other hand... icon_sad.gif

This says you need to use "OBEX Object Push" for .JAR and .JAD files...

http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=2728

Anyone know how to use that instead of the normal "OBEX File Transfer"?

Thanks!

Hey Old_Fool,

I read your post in the other thread:

... Have you used PST to enable feature call java uploader in you fone yet...

Where would I get PST (Motorola Phone Programmer?) and how does that work with the Bluetooth? I'm totally confused... icon_cry.gif

I finally got the OBEX Push to work... Anyone who is trying to upload files to the phone, you may need to disable some "Secure connection" features on your PC... Here is what I had to do (and now it seems to work without my phone refusing the connection):

Right-clicked on the Device and selected "Properties"...

Automatically authorized the Device to be able to use the PC's Bluetooth services (no prompts)...

Disabled the secure connection with the OBEX Push service...

Now everything seems to be working well... Thanks for sticking with me Old_Fool... I appreciate your help! icon_smile.gif
