Hi there,
I got my SonyEricsson T310 this evening and I am investigating ways to use the synchronizing calendars and contacts function. I have not met with success as the SE site offers no Synchronization software, yet I have found an entry in the user guide at page 70 that mentions synchronization (American English guide online and a Greek reference on page 80), so I'm puzzled.
Is there a way to synchronize the T310 for Outlook etc. with software like in the T39, if not, are there any replacement or compensatory techniques?
I need an answer fast so I can return the phone to the store if there is no solution.

I intent to synchronize Office XP (Outlook 2002) with the phone, I currently run Microsoft Windows XP (Service Pack 1a) on my laptop (which happens to have an IR port).
I've installed Ericsson's T300 Series IR driver and now I'm stumped, anything at all

I have an older laptop with Windows98 on it and an IR port, will the software mentioned above work on Windows 98?

The T310 manual mentions that software for synchronizing is available from sonyericsson.com. But When looking for it in the T310 section you won't find anything.
I guess they forgot to update the site...
Just look at the donwload section for other models (e.g. T68)
SW for the T68 is the same as for the T310.
I downloaded it, and am using it.
It works just fine. (although synchornization is a bit slower than with my old R380)

But how can you sync. with the PC the calendar, because the T310 does not not have the calendar functuion. Instead it has the "Events". Ca n you sync the events with the computer?

What do you mean no calendar...?
I synchronize both my contact and calendar from Outlook with my T310.
It's terribly slow, but it works.

I don't understand. My phone has, under the organizer menu, 5 submenus: Evente, Calculator, Alarm, Stop wacth and Timer. I don't have the calendar function. I checked the SE site and found the same thing at the Golbal Support: The Calendar is not supported by T310. Instead it has a lists of Events.

Only T68(i) has Calendar function.
But I heard that the firmware R3B has Calendar function!

Could you please tell me where could i get this firmware and how would i install it on my phone using IrDA. Thank you in advance. (Remeber: it need's to be for SonyEricsson T310)
