I'm having the same problem. Mine freezes, cannot be turned off at times, screen is upside down, doesn't recognize SIM.
Please help.

yeah.. sometimes it doesnt even load up. i keep having to remove the battery and try to load it up like 3 times. it ALWAYS freezes when i try to flip it back down after i load it up. sometimes it freezes in my pocket too. on average.. i remove the battery and load it back up around 20 times a day.. yeah its that bad. motorola is freaking lame because all they do is say.. "you have to send it in." they don't give you any insight on what's wrong with it. motorola customer service = 3/10.
im pretty sure its a software problem..

I've had the same problem and just left the phone sitting there. Eventhough I got it for free from t-mobile, I could've chosen a cheaper phone and gotten a rebate. The thing's so fragile, I'm afraid to sneeze near it. It appears to be a software problem because every so often it'll turn on and I'll be able to access some menus. But if there's an incomming call or if I try to dial out or even just close the thing, it'll freeze up and die on me. ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP??!??!?!?
