Has anybody had any probs assigning mp3 clips as ringtones?? When i try it on my 6630 it keeps saying invalid format!! any ideas?

i tried it on my 6630 and it worked just fine. copied it from memory card to phone memory. went to profiles and set ring tone as the mp3. it allowed it toi be accepted and it played fine when i called the phone. must be something to do with sampling rate or something... try re-encoding the mp3 at a different rate.

But you should open the m3u-file with a texteditor and check for the driveletters in front of the mp3s.
wrong:
f:\folder\filename.mp3
filename.mp3
right:
b:\folder\filename.mp3
b:\filename.mp3
The driveletter has to be b: because the phone recognizes the cards as drive b:
Than it should work.
