I tried sending you an e-mail, but it might be cycled as Spam and you probably won't see it. I have a question for you. I'm helping a friend unlock a 6620 and when I start entering the code using * three times, I can not get a letter to show up on the screen. Am I doing something wrong? Or the fact that I'm entering ***, the phone already knows that it represents a letter, even though I can't see it?
This is my firs time trying to unlock a phone, so please forgive my "newbieness".
Anyone else that can answer - would be appreciated.

if you dont see the letters this is what you do.. when typing in the code.. just keep pressing the * until its the right one. So trying to find the letter press the * quickly like 2 times to 3 just keep trying

Stupid question - but what does 'unlocking' your cell phone do in the first place?

Please some one help me with my phone nokia 6620 its not on that website unlock.nokia...... some one help me I tryed3 times no worked at all. The Phone is rogers at&t wireless Canada help please.

I already entered unlocking code 5 times and it said" code error". So now i got cable but i dont know what i need to unlock the phone, any programs or whatever.....

Im trying to unlock my 2 6620's One is off of ATT Wireless and the new one is from Cingular. Long story short family plan on ATT and they lost phone and we upgraded all phones to Cingular and they MADE us get new phones. I want to unlock the old 6620 (att) so I can sell it on Ebay or keep as a backup. And I want to have the new Cingular one unlocked since Im not sure how much longer I plan on being with them since they made me pay full price for this phone.
I tried the link to http://unlock.nokiafree.org/ but they dont list the 6620 and I tried the 6610 (yea I knew it wouldnt work but it was worth a shot lol) So IM down 1 out of 5 tries.
Anyone out there have any issues unlocking their 6620 ?? I love this phone the quality of the pic could be alittle better but the fact that I can take 500+ pics on my freaking phone then transfer to my pc or email them out is awsome!
I will post the other IMEI in a little while since I only have one of the phones here with me at work.
