...but I'm out of code unlocking tries on my 6620. Can someone suggest a mail-way unlocking service for cable unlock? Or the source for what's necessary to do the unlocking myself.

Phone Model: Nokia 6620 Unlocked!
Service Provider: Cingular |

This unlocked my ATT Nokia 6620 on the First Try.
I wanted to use it with my Cingular Sim.
Go to http://unlock.nokiafree.org/
Use Nokia Dct4 online Calculator at top of page
Put in your IMEI#
Network: ATT
GEN: Original
Nokia Model: (They do not list a 6620 but
check code 1 result for other models
ie. 6610 and you will find that the codes
are all the same number. It worked for me!)
Click on Get Codes
Use Code #1
Take out your Sim card
Enter Code #1
Bingo! It works!
Since I owe my success to this forum I thought it my obligation to post instructions. I do not know if this works after you have used up your five tries. Sorry.

It's unlockable by code, you have five time to enter the correct codes. However if you reach the five time limit or you fone say cannot undo restriction then your fone is hardlock and you need to have cable to do it |
I saw your reply concerning the unlocking of a Nokia 6620. I am having an issue with one. I currently have cingular but bought a ATT Phone (d'oh) thinking that my cingular SIM would work in it. No go.
I have gotten 3 codes off of he internet (Paid for) but they have not worked. What is this cable option to unlock the phone? Can I buy that cable or is that done by a retailer?
thanks for the help! |
Email me with info like IEMI#, country ofcouse USA and carrier AT&T so email with the IEMI# and i'll see what i can do for you ' i'm very lucky |
-edited- is the imei... service provider is AT&T tyring to make it work for tmobile and ofcourse USA

Just wanted to chime in and say that the above instructions worked for me... Woot!!
I was trying to migrate from the ATT grandfather plan to cingular proper. Worked. Thanks again!

I would just like to comment that the information for the 6610 indeed works for the 6620.. At least it worked on the first try for me.
Thanks!~

I bought an ATT Nokia 6620 to use with Cingular. I was able to unlock the phone but I'm still unable to connect to the internet. I called Cingular Tech Support but that didn't help. Anyone have the answer to my problem? Thanks in advance.
