T721 use midi for tone and wallpaper 120x160 gif . MPT only allow you to synch, it does not support transfer game, ring tone or wallpaper for your fone. You need PST 6.9 or P2kman to do this. P2kman is all you need but not knowing how to or careless will mess up your fone, on the other hand you can use these software listed here with out messing fone up. Start shopping.
PST 6.7 to enable you java uploader function.
Midway 2.8 to transfer game to fone.
Need Mservice backup (in PST) to backup all you files(ring tone and wall paper)
EMS manager to uploading you pics and tone o your fone. Get the softwares then come back we'll get you thru it

IF YOU HAVE NO RINGTONES ON YOUR PHONE YET, GO TO MENU -> MEDIA CENTER -> MY TONES -> NEW TONE. MAKE UP ANY NOTES, AND NAME IT. NOW YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ADD RINGTONES FOR SURE!!
Install both programs. Open up PST and click on File -> New -> M-Services Backup File. Once that opens go to Phone -> Read.
Once it has finished you need to save the file. Now open up EMS Manager. Go to File -> Open, and find the file you just had saved. Open it.
You now will see the "Add" buttons. You can insert wallpapers and ringtones there. Once you added all the items you want, click "Update".
You will get a pop up. Select NO. Now, go back to PST. Click on File -> Open -> M-Services Backup File. Find the file again, and open it.
Once it has opened, go to Phone -> Write. This will send all the files to your phone in one swipe
That's it. And have fun!
Let get that much for tonight k? Oh BTW get some shut eyes will ya

Installed both programs. Open up PST and click on File -> New -> M-Services Backup File. Once that opens go to Phone -> Read.
This worked
Once it has finished you need to save the file.
Saved
Now open up EMS Manager. Go to File -> Open, and find the file you just had saved. Open it.
This is where problem occurs. EMS says file is empty. Tried 3 times same result file created by PST is empty.
I am trying this on a T720c that is a CDMA phone. Could this be the problem?

Yup, usually the CDMA and TDMA Txxx's don't function properly with the GSM's ways...IDK but thats how it is...I have yet to find a method to do such tasks on a CDMA phone but its out there I know it....

All I am trying to do is upload some ringtones to this phone for a friend. MPT does not have the multimedia center with this phone. I have tried pkman it connects but both screens are blank it shows the # of files in the text box but can't actually see anything.

Ok then, in this case I recommend using P2kman....This will work for tones and wallpapers so download it from xlr8's site so goto google and search "xlr8 hex" without quotes, this will bring up the first listing which is his site and all in all you will be looking for p2kman, install this and load up your phone and upload the songs and graphics. Make sure the graphics are .gif and are 160x120 pixels.
