Am geting ready to purchase two vx 4500s I already have Susteen Datapilot 3.1 and would like to download ringtones and adress books. Will the Radio Shack cable work or do I need to buy the cable from Susteen?

You can get the cable from Radio Shack. The cable brand doesn't matter when it comes to using it with software.

I noticed on the RS web site they have two cales. One is for the LG 5350 and the other is for the LG VX 6000. I assume the VX 6000 is the right one. Is that correct?

Yes, the VX6000 is the one you want. You might want to check on ebay.com, you probally will be able to pick up one cheaper than at Radio Shack...
