Wow. Hasn't anyone used the EasyRingtoneMaker??? Its probably the easiest way to get ringtones to the phone. It works with all US phones and its tons cheaper than the Get it Now stuff! go look at easyringtonemaker.com. Its a free downoad, but RTs are 1.99. Cool part about it - you can get any ringtone you want! I have G love's new one BootyCall and its so funny everytime someone calls me! try it! i love it and its Soooo much easier than changing all this stuff everyone here is talking about.

I have tried renaming my mp3 into a .mid file. i have tried transfering it just as a .mp3 file. nothing I try seems to be working.
Current config.
vx6100 phone
datacable
using nero to edit mp3.
using handset manager version 8.0 to transfer to phone
I have tried a few diffrent songs and diffrent lengths of song clips and file lenght. I am at wits end on making these files.
any advice?
