You have to go into message settings, choose E-mail settings, go to RECIEVE setting, then choose Never, asa this is requesting on when to try and retreive E-mails. Then the DNS Error will stop. icon_smile.gif

Hi,
I have just bought a d500, well good, noticed that there were privacy settings to pincode folders like mms and email wondered if there was a lock code , similar to that - that you could get for the Inbox folder?
Cheers! icon_ermm.gif

A while ago, not long after d500 were released i found one at work, and before anyone says i should have returned it it was in lost property box for weeks and no one claimed it we have a box full of phones.
I unlocked the simcard thingy so i could use my irish O2 sim card in it. but it still won't work. does anyone know a way round it? if it helps the phone was originaly on T-Mobile.

Thanks.

Thanks for the help. but unfortunatly it didn't wrk. Someone said that is the phone was reported lost the phone would be blocked, not just the sim card. Don't suppose you know a way arount that sort of block?
I will have a look in lost property and let you know if they have any of that model nokia.

Thanks again.

I had the same problem. In my case the magnet on my holster seem to be causing interference with the operation of the phone. Try this, slide your phone (in the closed position) close to your holster, see if the state of the phone changes from locked to unlocked. If it does, then your the magnet is interfering.

My samsung D500 imei number has been blocked to all networks. There is a litle icon on the top left of the screen showing a phone with a line through it. And a message saying emergency calls only. I can send and receive text messages but cant receive/make calls.

If anyone has the similar problem and has found a solution. Could you please email me at: Craig_roberts01@hotmail.com

I think my problem could be resolved by inputing codes into my phone.

Please help!
Thank you! icon_smile.gif
