Can anyone help please.
My D500 screen has just gone to what looks like a mirror image. I had no issues before this. After approx 2 mins it then goes to a blank screen.
Is there a simple fix or is it time for the bin?

Hi if you are using the older version of the phone (same model) try this:
turn on your phone without a sim card in when it says insert sim key in #*7337# turn off your phone put sim in then turn back on if it askes you for a code it shuld be reset to 0000000 hope it helped! if it didnt work wait to see if anyone replys to my message (kez) witch i shuld get the new code for!

Hello guys,
I really hope there's someone here who can help me..
I bought my D500 phone in january 2005, and I never had problems with it for. But, since a couple of months this has changed. It started with the Java World section. Suddenly all my Java games dissapeared in the menu! However, when I'm looking at the Memory Status of the Java World menu, the games that dissapeared are still using memory. So I guess they must still be in my phone somewhere!
And that is a minor problem to what just happened today. I was trying to read an SMS message in my Inbox, and found out all text had changed in big blocks, the ones you can find in Word if you are adding symbols.
This also happened to the other SMS messages, except for the ones that are saved on my SimCard memory. I turned of the phone, restarted it, and now all my SMS messages have dissapeared! Only the 20 messages on my SimCard are displayed now. The same thing happened to my MMS messages..
I am hoping that somehow everything is still in my phone and can be recovered. Another strange thing was that 1 SMS message I sent about a year ago (and deleted it), was now displayed in my Outbox! So that one was still hidden in my phone somewhere.
I hope there's someone who knows a way how I can recover this lost data, or has experienced the same things.. If it works I will send you a compensation through PayPal.
Thanks.

Wonder if anyone can help. I recently changed the cover on my d500. This involved taking the phone apart including the ribbon cable. Unfortunately I damaged the ribbon cable and had to source a new one.
I put the phone together again only to find that it did not recognise the slide when up. I relealised this was caused by not transferring the magnet from the old casing. After completing this the phone works fine apart from the camera. When you go to take a photo it says "please wait" for a couple of seconds then goes back to the main screen. I have checked the camera connection to the PCB and it seems fine.
I was wondering if there are any camera reset codes or have I been send a dodgy ribbon cable. (I noticed the original ribbon had silver terminals where as the new one has gold).
Any advice would be gratefully recieved
