HOW-TO: Samsung D500 Codes

Hi

Can anyone help I have a Samsung D500 over the last couple of days an error code keeps appearing is says DSN or DNS error code. Then disappears from the screen. Does anyone know what this means.

Ive looked on all the phone sites I can think of and cannot find skins for a D500. Does anyone know where you can get them from. If they were free it would be great !!!

I need help with my D500..

It is supposed to be for orange but ive unlocked it and am using it with my vodafone sim card..however there is 1 problem

I can text and receive txt's but when i try to it call it just says "call ended" after a few seconds without ringing, i cannot receive calls either..whats the problem..

It doesnt say limited use or anything like that as some other ppl have said

ive had my samsung d500 over a year now i got white screen i can put a number in and call someone so i no my phone still works but just got a white screen all the time i would bin it or smash it up but my boyfriend died 3 months ago and i wont to get to the pics and txts i have on it but i carnt do anything i carnt afford to get it fixed in a shop so maybe be u can help me i have found some codes but carnt seem to get them to work what do u do once you have put the code in do u send it or ok it , yep im blonde im affarid please dont hold that against me though hope u or someone can help me

Just bought myself a sgh-d500 from ebay and am really disappointed to find it's locked to orange (wasn't told in listing).

I've tried several unlock codes from this thread and elsewhere on the net and none of them work. I only have 4 attempts left (don't know what happens after that - stops letting me try I guess). So I daren't put any more in until I can get one that has a good chance of working.

It doesn't seem to accept # or * as part of the code and all the codes on here seem to have those symbols in them.

I have an 02 paygo sim that I'd like to use in it.

I'd be really grateful for some advice because I'm raring to start using my new phone!

I'm afraid I've never done this before and don't know anything about mobile phones, so you'll have to explain in quite simple terms.

Just up graded to a k800i and managed to unlock my old D500 from orange contract by basically reading through all the posts in this thread.

I took a chance and entered (which you dial like a regular number) *2767*3855# into my phone which did a complete reset/refresh of the phone back to factory settings. (note: copy any numbers, pics etc as it wipes everything)

I then removed the sim and entered (dialled) #*7337# which unlocked the phone. It then says to insert sim, which I did and to my amazement worked and I can now use my t-mobile payg sim card.

Just though I'd share this info as I feel it's a disgrace to pay £20 to orange to unlock a phone which I've paid for.
