I have upgraded my phone and therefore now have a spare Samsung D500 which I had with O2 which a person wants to buy off me but he is afraid it will be locked, I have looked at the codes that people have put up to check the network locks and Ive scrolled through the menu on my phone and it says that all locks are inactive. I put my new SIM card in from my other phone which is orange and the phone said ‘hello orange’ and it seemed I could access all the features etc I didn’t try to make calls though which I will have to obviously try but it did seem like it was unlocked, can somebody please help me tell me if it is unlocked or what I need to do, It is a model that was bought in July 05 and would really like to make sure the phone is unlocked before selling, thankyou for your help in advance

I have a Samsung D500 and I am not able to see names I have stored in my phone except for those that have the area code attached. Does anyone know how to solve this problem of setting the area code in the phone, so that wether or not the area code is stored as long as some one is calling from the same area code and only the seven digit is stored you can see who is calling.

Hello can anyone help please, My phone keeps telling me that it is in Phone Freeze mode !!! I have attempted the obviouse codes and managed to unlock the network, but my phone still says phone freeze. any thoughts or help would be nice.

Ignore the #7465625*638*code# it's a load of CRAP! lol and the *28638# on the end doesnt work either.
Just remove the sim.
type in #*7337# NOTHING ELSE and the network lock is undone. simple. (i spent hours trying to find out the code too.. )

hi ive got a samsung d500 it is on orange but i unlocked it on t-mobile with the codes 00000000 n when i enterd dat code agen it come up with sayin fone freezed plz tell me how to unfreaze it i dnt have any idea wot 2 do can i even unfreze it??? reply plz n help me!

I have more simcards and I have at all the same PIN but unfortunatelly I do not have roaming at all(I am in a foreign country) so I cannot try to call from an other phone right now to find exactly what simcard is inside now. How can I see my own telephone number on Samsung SGH-D500?

Hi i have just bought a samsung D500 off e-bay and said it was unlocked but was on t-mobile uk.I went to put my o2 sim card in and its asking me for network code.I have tried 00000000 6times and its telling me i have only 4 attempts left so i thought i ask befor i lock my phone.I have also tried restting it and using a unlock code i found in a post on this site to unlock to any network but get same when put o2 sim card in.So could any 1 help me with this problem please.
