I had this same issue. The response I got from Samsung is that only select AT&T store or Samsung themselves can unfreeze (reflash) a phone. Do not pay $18.99 for the "Samsung Remotre Client" software unlocksamsungonline. It is a scam. It doesn't work and it cannot work. They will not refund your money either. Two things to think about: 1st - any positive messages about the software are likely posted from the company itself. 2nd - call Samsung directly and they will reflash your phone for free including shipping. Although it takes a few weeks to get it back. It's really your only choice if your local AT&T store cannot reflash your phone. If you have had a similar experience with this company, please contact me about a group effort to contact the the FTC with complaints by clicking reply. Single complaints are ignored by the FTC.

This guy asaulnier has a habit to not tell the whole story. So for everybody to make up their own mind this is the story:

He tried unlocking + unfreezing his Samsung and he had some trouble, perhaps because his phone has some corrupt data or he just didn't read the manual properly and then he used a different function in our software and used up his credits by pressing the 'Reset user code' button which costs 3 credits (which is clearly stated). And then he went complaining he demanded his money back without even asking for help like normal people.

In our courtesy we told him we can't refund him because he already used his credits but we offered him to reinstate his credits and our support to help him through the process of unlocking and repairing his phone. He refused and started making stupid threats about 'bringing us down' and about 'FTC complaints'.

We tried helping this person but if people refuse our help we can't do very much and we will definitely not have some dude make threats about FTC blabla.

And about the story that only Samsung and AT&T can fix phone freeze is nonsense, but I guess most of you already know that. Of course Samsung will say officially only they can do it. Officially those million of unlock shops around the world can't unlock / repair your phone either. ignorance is a bless. sometimes.

Best regards,
asaulnier

You've been warned about this company. DO NOT pay this company unless you are OK with losing your $18.99. Maybe their software will work with your phone, but I doubt it. Be sure to read my other post on this blog. I think this guy realizes that most people won't fight for a $18.99 refund. Expect to lose your $18.99 and you'll still have the "phone freeze" message. Again, don't take my word for it. Call AT&T and/or Samsung directly. Why isn't he suggesting you call them? Because he knows he is wrong. His only defense is to slander me. He looked me up on the intenernet and put down my profession and me personally. And if you lost your money with this guy, please contact me. I don't care if it's only $18.99, I don't want others to get taken by this company.

You do really like mentioning '$18.99' don't you?

Also I think you have trouble reading:
'Why isn't he suggesting you call them?':
About the story that only Samsung and AT&T can fix phone freeze is nonsense, but I guess most of you already know that. Of course Samsung will say officially only they can do it. Officially those million of unlock shops around the world can't unlock / repair your phone either.

Phone freeze is a problem in the 'sysinfo' of your phone and will NOT BE SOLVED by just flashing your firmware on a 3G phone (like yours). So do please call Samsung again and explain that to them icon_biggrin.gif

Wrong again. It is not an unlock issue. It is a Phone freeze issue. It is not a sysinfo issue either. I don't think I could string along as many half truths and lies together even if I was a politician! Get your phone unlocked by a $3 ebay auction. Don't waste $18.99 with this guy. Get the phone freeze issue taken care of free with Samsung. Get their number from their website and call. They (and some AT&T shops) are the only ones capable of solving the phone freeze issue. Don't waste your money. You'll never see it again with Samsung remote client or SRC or unlocksamsungonline.

This guy could offer 100 free fixes. That still doesn't make his software work. Think about it: Why would Samsung and AT&T claim they are the only ones who can fix a phone freeze AND offer to do it free AND pay for the shipping both ways to get it fixed for you. How many other companies out there offer to fix Samsung phone freezes? This is the only software I could find. I promise you, you will waste several hours trying to interpret bad instructions, follow dead links, and search for missing files from his zip folders. When it’s all said and done, you'll still need to send it to Samsung for reflashing. And you'll need to uninstall his software from you computer. Be sure to create a system restore point before installation. You'll need it. I am not following up on these emails to hurt this company; I am following up to save you from losing your money and time as I did. If this guy stood behind his software, he would have offered me a refund. But how could he be profitable if he gave everyone a refund?
Also, thank you to all who have contacted me about paying for this non-working software. We'll need about 20-25 before we can be effective in contacting the FTC. You can email me at andrew (at) saulnier dot com if you'd like to be included.

Dude have you actually read your own post back?

I don't offer you a refund because:
You USED your credits, so WE OFFERED you to reinstate your credits and solve your problem BUT YOU REFUSED directly without accepting ANY help.

System restore point necessary?! haha your making up new things everyday don't you. In two days your prob at the point you make us out to have hacked the White house or something.

'This guy could offer 100 free fixes. That still doesn't make his software work.' Can you see how much sense this DOESN'T make :S. Are you afraid that if people try our service and actually find it to work they just know you are just a liar and full of shit? Prob bec you are indeed full of shit.

As for Samsung fixing it for free. If they do that, that's a good deal but you'll lose your phone for about a week or more so yeah its just what people want.

I think enough is said, people can judge for themselves.

I just revisited their website again where I found this exact quote "We 100% guarantee our service.you will get 100% refund!" What it doesn't say is if you click one of the largest buttons (reset user codes) in the middle of their interface you lose your credit and they don't offer a refund. Of course there is nothing in the directions or any description of what this button does. In my frustration for trying to follow inaccurate and incomplete directions, I clicked it. After all, it is the large button in the middle of the interface.
I did not refuse help nor turn down more credits. I asked for a refund because of how much time I had wasted with the software. That's when his attacks started coming. I didn't want to waste any more time. It was obvious to me that I had been suckered.
I don't think this guy has the ability to solve a phone freeze issue let alone hack the "White House or something." I am simply stating that I recommend you do everything necessary to completely remove illegitimate software from your computer - regardless of who makes it.
My analogy about offering 100 free fixes is completely valid. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, regardless of how many times you give it away for free.
His frustration with me exposing his scam must be getting to him. I can now add profanity to the list with threats, borderline stalking and the lying he has already done. Jerry Tobin with Greeting Cards of America behaved the same way when I exposed his scam. I believe he had jail time for his scam. Search his name in Google. As long as I find a place to comment about this company, I will continue to share my experiences. I have a very low threshold for scammers. It's not a waste of my time if I can prevent someone else from getting scammed.

Where do you think functions of a software are explained? This is generally done in the manual.

Quote from the manual:
'When the driver is properly installed and the Com port numbers are set correctly you can Unlock and Repair:
Repair + unlock ALWAYS use the 'Read Unlock Codes' or 'Read E2P' option and enter repair code and unlock codes manually on your phone as stated in the log screen at C.
Unlock use any option you like
*'Reset user code' does NOT unlock your phone, it resets the so called 'user code' or 'security code' to 00000000 (8 times zero) and also costs 3 credits.'

I'm not afraid of you as we are doing nothing wrong at all. Actually I think your going a good job for us putting us in the spotlight, I know you are trying to make bad commercial for us but apparently when people read the whole story they still come to us and order their unlock credit. And guess what; they email us and say a big thank you for finally unlocking and repairing my phone.

As for the refund; yes we do 100% guarantee our service. You used it and it worked as the action you clicked did very much its job. Its not our fault you hit the wrong button and as said before we offered you help and reinstate your credits but you refused.

As response to your first email with your problem we responded we couldn't refund because you used the credits but we would reinstate the credits and help you with the problem and we asked for some details we needed to help you. You responded making threats about 'bringing us down' and 'FTC complaints'. That looks very much to refusing help to me.

As for 'one of the largest' button, it is just a function button the exact same size as the rest. People can see for themselves by using the free login
'test' - 'srs'.
