HOW-TO: Samsung D500 Codes

Hi, I bought my D500 just a month ago... It was unlocked, but know that I am back in my country it doesn't allow me to gain access to Internet via GPRS. I have all the necesary info, IP,Port,Log,Pass... etc. Also I can download games to it, I bought a bluetooth dogle and I can upload MP3, Pics, Video except Jar games. CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE?

I have had this problem the the blue tooth activation error when trying to switch on Bluetooth, also the same message is given when trying to start Irda. O2 said my phone must be sent back for repair, so I sent it back, after a week it came back with both Bluetooth and Irda working.

I lost all my phone book entries in the process though. However within a week the problem is happening again and I cannot get Bluetooth or Irda to work. Now O2 are telling me i must send the phone back again.

I have taken the phone back into the O2 store to be sent away and they have performed some sort of reset on it in the store and it is now working again for the time being at least.

Any ideas what is causing the problem or what they did in the shop to fix it. It would save me a 30 mile trip every time it fails.

FOR YOU HOW WANT TO PUT ANY VIDEO ON YOUR PHONE, IF YOU HAVE GOT SHAREAZA PUT IN SANSUNG D500 AND IT WILL FIND 3GP CONVERTER, WITH THIS YOU CAN CHANGE ANY VIDEO FILE AND PUT IT ON YOUR PHONE, PUT WHEN YOU OPEN A FILE BEFORE CLICK ON THE BOX UNDER IT AND PICK THE SECOND ONE DOWN IN THE DROP DOWN BOX WHICH IS FILM TYPE AND CLICK OPEN THEN DOT TO ENDING AND SAVE IT IN YOUE DOCUMENTS.

IF YOU HAVE NOT GOT SHAREAZA GO ON GOOGLE AND SEARCH FOR IT THEN YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT FOR FREE.

YOU CAN ALSO USE BARE SHARE OR E DONKEY

hi im sort of having troubles. which code allows me to clear all images and sounds but leave the firmware intact? sort of a "format"? i sent a gif to my d500 and everytime i enter the downloaded images folder, it hangs and restarts itself. i just wanna delete everything!

hello i have a samsung d500 on orange and i have looked at the codes on your post and im not sure which one will unlock my phone to any network and get rid of the stupid white line on the left hand side and the orange on the right could you please help

what is the "code" and is it right that if i enter this with whatever the "code" is it will make my phone turn off when i push the green button please could sum1 help

Hi Don, When i look at my version on my d500 it sas vodaUK. does that mean it's locked....

Cingular opperates on 850/1900 frequency and the samsung d500 works on 900/1800/and 1900 frequencies. the common frequency in my town is 850. is there a way i can change the band in my phone to pick up the 850. i have read about being able to do it with motos but i havent heard anything about being able to do it with samsung d500. if one of you cell experts can hook me up with some info or walk me through the process of doing this it would be greatly appreciated.

i have had my samsung sgh-d500 for about 2 weeks alls been good until now when i try to activate the bluetooth and a msg pops up saying "bluetooth activate error" if any one knows the reoson for this could u please email me on"jamies@toucansurf.com"
