First, TY for taking the time to read this..!!!
TY even more if you can answer and help
1. I keep my phone in a neoprene hip/belt holster...everytime the phone rings and I pull it out...it rejects the call....I think the phone is either sliding and closing...or the volume key is rejecting the call...any thoughts or fixes for this...

Don't hold me to this but if I can help I'll try, now as for the volume key ending your calls I really don't think this would happen, with the slider down the key lock will be on an if up all the volume does is change the volume it wont end calls. With this in mind I think your slider maybe opening a little an closing once in your hands, this would end the call because opening the slider would accept the incoming call an closing the slider would end the call.
If this is the case which from what you have put I think it is the slider your having problems with and I can help.
Ok go to your menu in here look for phone setting, then look for slide settings, now here you can set what you want your D500 slide action to do when opened an closed, if I was you try setting up an down to NONE. This will stop the phone responding to the slider opening an closing
Also try turning off the Anykey answer! go to menu in here look for phone setting, then at bottom find extra settings, in here untick Anykey answer doing this only the GREEN answer key will allow you to accept incoming calls..
Hope this helps you PokerDoc

Hi sfphilly838,
I really dont think the code idea is full proof! there are always people having problems after applying unlock codes on a locked Orange D500..
The 100% full proof unlock method for the Orange D500 would be to flash a diffrent firmware to it getting shot of all orange changes an addons an also unlock the D500 with the com port cable an use WINIMEI.
I know its the hard way round it but I did it to my Orange D500 an its running o2 payngo, an I have not had any problems or crashs with the phone as yet!
Good luck on what ever you do m8

I just purchased a new unlocked phone from ebay. I would appreciate it if someone can help me with my WAP settings and MMS settings. In addition, my email is not working. Please help! I have Cingular.
Thanks in advance for all the help. I just want my phone to work.

My infrared used to work when i first got the phone. It would connect to my laptop. However, after i tried some codes, it won't work anymore... My laptop doesn't detect anything when i activate the infrared on my cell phone. Anybody know what's wrong with it or if there is any code to make the infrared work?
