This appears to be caused by the ribbon cable inside becoming loose. Try removing the battery then giving the back of the phone a few sharp taps with your finger. This usually gets my screen back on. If you continue to get the fault a new ribbon can be brought for about a tenner from www.siansmobiles.co.uk

Hi Don,
I have gone thru each n every post under this topic, but couldn't figure out the 'code' part for unlocking D500.
I have tried this #7465625*638*code#, with the 8-digit 'code' as '00000000' , but failed.
Can you or anybody please help me with the code for unlocking D500 in T-Mobile.
Thanks in advance
Daz

I have all the software needed to unlock / upgrade firmware for the D500, and maybe it even reset's the camera, as that sounds like a firmware problem, I had same problem, updated the firmware, and all was ok. All I ask is £3.99 for shipping cost's / cost of disk, and I will ship it out to you. Go to www.ebay.co.uk, go to community, and look for user ID Robertsoni41. I will also throw in loads of ringtones / Pictures / Themes PLUS all the software needed to do upgrades WITH instructions.

You have to USE a Link-Cable to unlock D500, Codes DO NOT WORK. I have all software needed, you will have to buy the cable seperatly plus a fully charged Phone Battery, WITH a PP3 9 Volt Battery NEW....
