i tried to transfer MP3's to my Samsung d500 but it says says unsupported format at the end of the transfer anyone out there who can help me thanks

MP3 is not supported. MP4 IS! Convert your MP3s to MP4 , then upload them via wap.

thats what i thought it says mp3 player in the manual how come mine doesnt allow me to transfer them

The MP4s should be transfered via wap. MP3, I think, can be transfered via cable or bluetooth.

how much is the sgh-d500? from the prices ive seen they have all been in the 500 to 600 dollar range im looking into buying that if not the sgh-630 because i have the sgh-d410 taht i got a few months ago

buy off eBay, james....just be careful
and make sure its in mp3 format and not wma

rbcuk it could be the software, I have an older version of PIM and i can transfer to my phone MP3, MP4, 3GP ... but last week I downloaded another build of PIM from samsung website and when I tried to send an MP4 to phone "unsupported format" message was displayed. Now I’m using version 2.0 EE4 and it is working fine, try to find a similar version or give me your email address and I’ll send it to you.

some mp3s don't have all the info the phone needs to play them. When I get this error on my e720 I re-encode the mp3 in nero and it then works fine!
