Nokia firmware isn't public domain. You're not allowed to download it or flash the phone on your own.
The only legal way to get a new firmware is a Nokia Care Center (you can find their locations on the Nokia website).

Can anyone tell me the current firmware version of the Nokia 6101.
I have V3.39. I am having problems with app security access. Nokia wants me to send it in for a firmware update. The problem is, the rep didn't ask what version I have and couoldn't tell me the current version. I just got the phone (actually 4 of them) new a few days ago.

Do you think the following problem is fixed in newer firwares? I have a Nokia 3230, firmware:

The problem: I have a Palm T3, when I pair it with Nokia 3230 for the first time, it works great, SMS, Dialing from Palm T3's contacts, sending memos, etc. Now If I turn the bluetooth of Nokia 3230 off and then turn it back on, SMS and Dialing from T3 won't work (though sending memos, sending contacts are ok). Unless I turn off the phone (shut-down) and wait for it to reboot! Or Keep my Bluetooth on all the time on Nokia 3230 :/ So help would be highly appreciated.
I paired the T3 witha 6670 and worked fine. I wish I knew about this problem before buying a Nokia 3230.

[ Bjoern thanks for the link, I was careless when searching the Nokia site for service centers in Tehran/Iran. I'll contact them, hopefully they can upgrade the firmware. I'll let you know of the result]

Take a look there. You can call them and you surely can send them the phone for repair.
And technically the upgrade is legal, having the firmware is illegal.

Hi !
I need to upgrade my 6630 Firmware (I have the old 2.39.15 RM-1). The phone IS PROPERLY UNLOCKED and is still under warranty.
Problem is Nokia Canada does not want/is not able to flash it because the phone was bought in Europe before I moved to Northern America. I expect I would have the same problem with Nokia US. So long for the so called "international firms"...
Since they do not seem to understand that I'm not willing to flight across the Atlantic to one of their european customer center, what option do I have to upgrade my phone ?
This is driving me nuts, I'm willing to do anything possible to fix my phone, even flashing it myself even if it's illegal.
There HAS to be a way for me to upgrade my phone, it's less than a year old and I got all the proper stuff (receipt, accessories, ...).
Please help me !!!
