Probably the most asked question.. Is there anything free out there to convert mp3 to mmf format? This is annoying sorta, my old M v180 could be linked directly to mp3s. I see though the LG 1400 uses mmf instead..
Another question..
I upload a gif file to my domain, and used it as my wallpaper on the main screen.. I tried setting it as my outside screen wallpaper but does not come up as a usable wallpaper for the outside screen. Is there a certain image format images have to be to be used as wallpapers for both?
Thanks..

It has been awhile since I did this, as I just switched to the V180, but I am having problems with the ringtones there, as it tells me that the file is not in a compatible format and cannot be converted.
Oh, back to your problem there are a few things to try
1) On a rare occassion if I renamed the file and changed the extension to show it is a midi file the program would recognize.
2)You can download a program to convert mp3 to another format such as wav or midi and then convert these to mmf
There is a program called PsmPlay 5.4 that will let you create mmf files from different formats, I do not recall if mp3 can directly be converted or if you need to change the mp3 to a different format.
There are some websites that I still have marked that have quiet a few midi files that are well known songs and you can download those for free and then use them
I assume you are using LG Contents Bank
Let me know if I can help you with any programs you need or if you want any of the websites. It is best to contact me at bushboff@yahoo.com

Let me know if you still need assistance and I will see what I can do. I recently had to replace my phone and switched to a motorola v180 but I spent so many hours figuring this out that I am trying to put it to use by helping others
