there is only two options com1 and irda i tried to switch the two options but still not working with my e105. then i tried to used it to nokia and it work! but im really sad because it can't detect my own phone e105

i use same irda with a p510 set as irda and 115200 in easy gprs, same settings in device manager.
when you activate irda on your phone does your computer recognise the phone? (grey box with red dot on toolbar)
if it does what happens when you open easy gprs
are you using xp sp2?

my computer doesn't recognized the phone when i activated the irda on my phone.
and i don't see any grey box with red dot on toolbar.
is it posible that my irda are not compatible with my phone (e105)?

what connection speed is irda set in device manger?
If your nokia connects then it might be your phone. Ma 620 is compatable with e105, do you start easy gprs or your phone first?
Are you running xp with sp2 installed?
Hope we can get this going
