it says that the nokia 6260 can read word documents... how come mine can't seem to sense that they are in a folder ??? they don't seem to bei n the folder that i put them in.....

The 6260 normally has Quickword installed on it. Check if it is installed. You should normally be able to view the files from within it.

so u just put the file in the rs mmc then it should be able to read it right ???? it doesn't seem to work for me aye... i'll give it another go... but i don't think it'll work...

Did you check if Quickword is installed?
Also it doesn't mean that it will automatically open the files.
My guess is, you've got to start Quickword and open the file from within.
No Quickword on the phone, no possibility to open the files.

it has quick word on it... but when i open quickword it just just says no data and when i refresh it stays the same... is there a specific format that i need to have the word document at ???

Start Quickword, select browse and browse to the folder where the files are!
The standard folder where you should files is
/documents/unfiled
on the MMC... only this folder will be scanned automatically. Or browse on your own to the folder with the file you wanted to open.

Also you should have read the part in the manual about Quickword. It says that it is not sure that all files will work.

but if word documents won't work then what will... plus there is no browse option in the menu when u open quick word....
