Please give me some details. I have managed to transfer individual files, but I'd like to see something that tells me what I'm doing.

i have a motorola v551 and i am having problems connecting with bluetooth. i have installed the software and it can see my phone but when i try to coneect via file transfer it askes for a pin and i do all that but it says connection failed even though it sayd pin verifyed and saved on my phone. please help

I've come to believe that the v551 just does not work reliably with bluetooth, at least not for file transfers. I have a PC at home and at work. If I get the bluetooth to work on one PC, it will stop working with the other PC. I have stopped using the bluetooth, and gone back to using the USB cable because it is more reliable and easier.

well thanx but that doesnt really help my problem. The bluetooth device list in my tray it says that the device could not be found.

yes, it can find the phone and it tells me what my phone is able to do but when i try to file transfer thats when it says connection failed. It asks me for a pin and i get passed all that but it doesnt do anything after that.

mikekay10: the problem pcnismo is describing is *exactly* the same problem I get. I have given up on the v551 bluetoothing with my PC.

heyi just got my phone razr and i wanna upload games to it is if i have a BLUETOOTH... (now is the bluetooth the wireless usb adapter here is a pic of what i have http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_i d=0665000FS10066602&catid=19997#)... so anybody can tell me if i can use that? or not, thank you

What you have pictured there is a wireless network 802.11 adapter, or WiFi. You need a Bluetooth adapter unless your razr has WiFi ability (which I doubt).
Your wireless network adapter you have pictured will connect your laptop to a wireless router at a coffee shop so you can surf the 'net while sipping a cup-O-joe. Useful? Yes, but not for your cell phone. Bluetooth uses a different range of frequencies than WiFi.

hey joe,, thanx for ur message.. now i i fiqured out how to upload themes pics and ringtones to my cell phone so its all pimped up now lol.. i just need to know how to upload games on it..
tell me if u know away how to upload games.
by the way i was looking on some website and it shows u everything step by step how to upload the game but before that i'll need a program ,, the program is P2kTOOLS.. im not sure if u know about it or not
but yea anyways if u know that ,, can u tell me where to get that program from
