Hi there,
I'm new to this forum. I just bought a Nokia 6610 today and activated it (though it was recommended to let it recharge first for like 8 hours, I just couldn't wait). The problem is this: Every few seconds, especially when the Nokia is proccessing alot (Java games, surfing on GPRS), the LCD brightness gets a little dim for less than a second and then returns to normal. The effect is that the screen is "blinking" and that the contents of the screen gets out of focus. A friend of mine who owns 7210 says it happens to him too but every few minutes, not every few seconds. Is that normal to the 6610 or do I have a screwy Nokia???
Please reply, as I am nervous and impatient because of this problem. The store is already closed and I dont even live in this area of the country...

Its never happened to mine it's perfect. No problems. Go to some Nokia Care Center and get it fixed.

There IS NO Nokia service center in Israel. They got a private importer... and the Nokia 6610 isn't being imported to Israel yet...
so basically, unless I get it fixed where I bought it - I'm screwed!
