noticed that my 6230's scre4en is a bit too "blue"...see..the colour schemes colours all look weird except for blue..and yesterday when i was helping my cousin transfer photos to the computer using her SE K700i (i think..the one with roange keypad and starts with K) since she dun have bluetooth, inflared or cable and i have bluetooth, she wanted me to help her transfer to the com..by transfering them to my phone via irda then i go transfer to me comp at home. well, im not sure but i think that the SE phone also has 65K colours right?? (pls tell me if it has more or les than 65K colours).
so..comparing the colour quality, the one on the SE looks more realistic..the 6230 has a bit too much blue in it.
are all 6230 like that??? or my is faulty?? juz want to know..the colour scheme also look weird except blue..

Well, I used to use K700i. I switched to N6230 just recently.
The screen on K700i is (much) better compared to the one used by N6230.
What's important is how the photo looks when viewed on a computer screen. What you see on the phone's display is just a preview.

According to the spec, K700i has 65K+ colors as well. But its resolution is 176x220 (more than N6230). K700i has TFT screen, N6230 has active TFT. I don't understand the technology, but I think they cause the two phones to look different.
The camera resolution for K700i can be adjusted. The highest is 1024x768 (if I recall correctly). Normal is 640x480. Below that, there are 2 more settings, in which you can start using the zoom feature.

The highest resolution of the K700i is 640*480.
The given highest resolution of 1280*960 is not real, it is just the 640*480 resolution enlarged 4x by software. The picture appears to be bigger, but nothing more. You can do the same thing on your computer with picture editing software.

Perhaps you should ask in the Sony Ericsson forum?
The K500 has the following:
Screen: TFT, 65K colors, 128 x 160 pixels
Camera: VGA, 640x480 pixels, video
