My Friend gave me his old phone>Samsung SGHx427m<Cingular> and he try to unlock the phone with my Sim Card<T-Mobile>  , but he was unlocking incorrectly and Message>>Sim Lock Enter password<<with both his old and my Sim Card. Now i dont know what to do to get it unlock...Please help me ..thanks

T-Mob won't do it unless you are or were a customer must have at least 90 days of active svc and be current if an active acct

You Could also try default Security Password. Call Tmobile they will be more then happy to give it to you. ( I know for the x426 its 00000000)

Wont unlock phone to Tmobile but may be able to use old Cingular card again lol.

That is not the default password but the default security code, the default SIM PIN is 1234.. If you need to unlock your x427 simply do this:
(and I apologize if I am violating any forum rules.. i just started here today) I believe this only lasts until you powercycle the phone, personally I turn my phone off about once every few months...
a) Without a SIM card, Enter the stack reset code *2767*STACKRESET#
b) After the phone reboots enter the following code #0111*00000000#
c) "Personalization Cancelled" should be displayed.
